Frequently Asked Questions
Testing
Where is my blood drawn? At a Quest patient service center or at home.
Do I need insurance? No. We do not bill insurance. Pricing is direct and shown before you book.
Can I use results from another lab? Yes — you can upload past results and a licensed medical professional will read them alongside your panel. See Upload Past Labs.
How often should I re-test? It depends on what changed and what we are trying to move. Re-test intervals are set by your licensed medical professional as part of the plan, not by a fixed schedule.
Treatment
Will I be prescribed something? Not necessarily. Plenty of panels end in a behaviour change and a re-test date. Treatment follows the findings.
Are peptides FDA approved? Certain peptides are not approved by the FDA for general human use. They may be prescribed off-label or dispensed through licensed compounding pharmacies at a licensed medical professional's discretion, and long-term safety data in healthy individuals is limited. Compounded formulations are not the same products studied in the trials whose figures are commonly cited.
Do you offer GLP-1 therapy? Yes, where clinically appropriate, as part of a metabolic plan built on your panel rather than as a standalone prescription.
Eligibility and telehealth
Where do you operate? Our clinic is in Winter Park, Florida. Telehealth availability varies by state — we confirm your eligibility when you book.
Is everything done remotely? Almost. The blood draw is the one in-person step, and it happens at a Quest patient service center near you or at your home — never at our clinic. Consultations are by telehealth, or in person at Winter Park if you prefer.
Privacy
Who can see my results? You and the licensed medical professionals involved in your care. See the HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices for how protected health information is used and disclosed, and the Privacy Policy for everything else.
